How to be Insulting to Florists

Oscar Wilde went into a florist's one day and asked:

'Can you take flowers out of the window?'

'Certainly, sir,' said the assistant, 'which would you like?'

'Oh, I don't want any,' said Wilde. 'I only thought that some of them were looking a bit tired.'
